-Ти карък ли си?

Да! Не мисля, че съм свършил достатъчно работа, за да мога да не се нарека карък. Попитай ме пак след някоя друга година.  

-Всъщност какво е посланието на филма?

Прекрасното в изкуството е, че е субективно. Всеки може да намери своя собствен смисъл. Това, че играя във филма не ми попречи да го гледам и като зрител. Посланието, което аз си виждам е, че колкото и сив да изглежда животът ни можем да намерим щастие… тук или другаде. Важното е да го гоним.

-Ти си завършил при Ивайло Христов. Как е да работиш с него, след като напуснеш Академията? Променя ли се отношението му към теб и останалите, вече бивши студенти?

Професорът никога не е бил човек, които слага бариера между себе си и студентите. Винаги е общувал в нас като с колеги. Разликата е в това, че след четири години се познаваме  много добре, ние бързо разбираме какво иска от нас, а той ни има повече доверие.

-Как е в голямото кино?

По света разликата между голямо и малко кино е в бюджета. У нас всеки филм се прави за джобни пари. В България разликата е в успеха на филма, в това дали хората искат да влязат в салона и да го гледат. Затова много се радвам, че го наричаш „голямо“ кино. Прекрасно е да си част от филм, които постига големи успехи и който хората харесват. 

-Какво преживяване беше за теб снимачния процес?

Работата по този филм беше един от най-приятните моменти в живота ми. Изключително удоволствие ми достави невероятното желание и професионализъм с което всеки член на екипа работеше всеки ден. Сега не мога да повярвам как съм ставал всеки ден в 5 сутринта, защото в 6 трябва да съм на терен и нито веднъж не съм се сетил да измънкам, че ми се спи. 

-Как приемат филма твоите приятели и познати, които вече са го гледали? Доволни ли са от продукцията или намират кусури? 

За моя голяма радост, всички са много доволни от него. Надявам се така да бъде и с тези, които още не са имали възможност да го гледат.

-Защо филмът е черно-бял? Вече рядко се създава такава стилистика. Тя не е ли обречена на изчезване?

Професор Христов искаше филмът да изглежда максимално достоверен, дори документален. Освен това знаеше, че операторът, Емо Христов, ще направи чудеса с черно-бяла картина. -А твоят герой? Какъв е той – неговите мечти, неговият характер, неговата роля, като цяло?

Той е барабанистът в група „Кислород“, която пристига в малкия град, където живеят главните герои и около която се завърта сюжетът. Както се казва в заглавието на един друг филм „спасение дебне отвсякъде“, само трябва да си станем от зад**ците и да го потърсим. 

-Как виждаш бъдещето на българското кино? 

Надявам се да се развива. Всяка година излизат все повече и повече качествени български филми. Вървим по верен път. Мисля, че само след 10 - 20 години, като погледнем назад ще има десетки филми с които да се гордеем.
